Our Family - Our Business - Our Story

The honeycomb represents KINDNESS, UNITY, and WARMTH... the pillars for any community and family. The bee pollinates plants and connects all living things, with honey being the spiritual fruit that represents life's sweetness.

From humble beginnings with a family lookin' to spend quality time with each other, the Janzens put our talents together and started a small business in the Swan River Valley in 2010. Vicki, with daughters Hannah, Trinity, and Talia created Hannys Hobbies And Things. We began crafting and selling at farmers' markets, craft shows, and trade shows across the Valley. 

Our heart's desire - To supply our customers with chemical free, handcrafted products made with love.

Vicki's husband Clinton and their son Jesse also help building soap molds, keeping our bees, and handcrafting the soap dishes.

The soap started out as a health and science projects with many failed attempts. Because handcrafted soap doesn't contain the nasty hardening chemicals, a soap dish that keeps your soap dry is essential, thus the soap dish was made by Clinton.

The sky remains the limit as the Janzens are continuously inspired and wishing to create new products to add to their inventory. We wear many hats as part of their business and have even expanded into the food industry.

Today we supply handcrafted soaps,  soap dishes, charcoal toothpaste, luxurious reviving lotion, succulent gardens, handcrafted cement pots, creamed and infused honey with our very own bees, & so much more...

Our favorite part of our business is being able to work together as a family.

All of our products can be found locally at stores, picked up directly from our home and mailed to you!
